The Shoemaker

Constantinos Kyriacou, also known as Cos K, was one of the original pioneers of the 6" stiletto heel. After over 40 years of mastering the most detailed intricacies of its construction, curvature, and shape, he has gained more knowledge and understanding of fetish shoes than anybody else in the industry today.

Having grown up in a shoemaking family, Cos K learnt his trade working in his father’s business, The City Cobbler in the heart of London, where he first developed his skills making bespoke men's & ladies' footwear in the early 1980's.

He later relocated to Shepherds Bush in West London, cultivating a successful relationship with the wardrobe department at the BBC, The Royal Shakespeare Company, and other theatrical productions. He made shoes for many well-known celebrities, including a decade-long relationship with Prince.

His shoes were a regular feature at the catwalk shows of fashion royalty, including Vivienne Westwood, Bettie Jackson, and Alexander McQueen at London Fashion Week throughout the nineties.

The Designer

Doreen Koletschka was the driving force and inspiration behind Marquis Latex Fashion, achieving international acclaim for her intelligently elegant and functional creations.

Growing up in Eastern Germany, her creativity started early. She dove deep into the universe of movies from the 30s, 40s, and 50s, discovering Bettie Page, John Willie, and Eric Stanton. This fascination for fetish aesthetics has never been far from her life since.

Doreen graduated from the famous Bauhaus University in Weimar in 2000 with an architectural degree. She later began working with Peter W. Czernich, founder of the world-renowned Marquis magazine. Under Peter's guidance, she developed an understanding and proficiency for working with latex, transferring her architectural knowledge to design and construct items for the Marquis clothing brand.

During this time, Doreen created outfits for Dita Von Teese, Wunderkind, Escada, and many models from the fetish scene.

The Legacy

In 2018, Cos and Doreen met for the first time at a planned photo shoot. Since then, more collaborations followed, leading to the decision to work together permanently.
